A few friends and I dined at this restaurant on Friday night. It was quiet and we received excellent service. I have a gluten intolerance and they kindly accommodated my dietary needs by preparing the tabouli without wheat. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the generous Byblos platter we shared. We also enjoyed the freshly made dips, fried cauliflower, and eggplant. While there is a Mediterranean section on the menu, I preferred the tasty Lebanese cuisine. We were too full to try the desserts or coffee, but I will definitely be coming back.
The restaurant is nicely decorated, but unfortunately, the service was lacking and the food was only average. The prices were also disappointing.
We bought some take away recently from Byblos as we are always keen to give new places a go. First impressions were good. Friendly service and quite a classy decor for a suburban restaurant. Our servings were generous but the taste was just not here. The Chicken Sharwarma was quite plain and the Lamb Mansaf was not good. The spices were quite nice, as was the rice, but the lamb meat was cooked hard & very hard to chew. I don't know it it is supposed to served as such, but it was a chore to eat.We may give them another go as the menu is quite extensive but it would need to improve for ongoing custom.
