Basket Case Cafe and Art Gallery

I had a negative experience at this restaurant when I asked the owner if she would consider selling my healing meditation and hypnosis CDs. While she agreed, her husband became aggressive and basically kicked me out of the store. I had intended to stay and eat, as my family and I were regular customers. However, we never returned after this incident. I eventually filed a complaint due to the threatening behavior of the husband. I understand that some men may feel insecure about self-help products, but I was simply looking to sell my products on a commission basis. If the couple is no longer the owners, I hope that this type of behavior has been addressed. Regardless, I felt it was important to share my experience in this review.

The food is great. You can get gluten-free when ordering.

My mother took my husband and I for lunch and I was a bit confused to go to an antique shop for lunch. But on the back there is a small café and my mother insisted that they had great homemade dishes here. She was right! I have a cup of tea and a bacon and cheese with homeries. Both Yammy. She put my tea in a sweet little teapot with a nice tea cup and saucer. My mother said everything in the store is for sale, so if I liked something I should just ask. Even salt and pepper shakers. I really loved my tea cup and saucer and was curious how much they were. I took her home for $5. Amazing! The next time I came home, they looked good.

People are awesome, service is nice, food is great and working here was an amazing experience.
