Butlers Restaurant - Ingleside

Decided on eating here after the reviews on trip advisor. We were so amazed. I'm gluten free and my wife is not. All the food is made from scratch and is so wonderful. The owner is super friendly and ensures that everything is of the highest quality. I would totally recommend everyone stop by and try this hidden gem.

Nourriture digne d'un repas cuisiné maison. Mon conjoint et moi avons pris le souper du jour consistant en une brochette de poulet savoureusement parsemée de basilic et huile d'olive, salade mixte/huile d'olive & herbes, petite sauce tatziki servie à part, légumes grillés. Portion parfaite pour moi mais mon conjoint aurait pris deux ou trois morceaux de poulet de plus. N'a l'air de rien à l'extérieur mais très bien à l'intérieur. Il faut arrêter si vous passez dans le coin.u

Stopped in for some wings and fresh cut fries, absolutely not disappointed. Delicious as always!! The wings are meaty and tender and the sauces are the best! Fries are fresh cuts! Great meal!

I live in Ingleside and have visited Butlers on a number of occasions, but this experience for me last night was the poorest in food quality. The french onion soup was the sweetest, most awful-tasting that I have ever tried to consume. It was as if the cook made the soup, and then added 4 spoons of sugar to the bowl. The hamburgers were thick, and consequently raw in the middle. The meat was also of the pre-prepared patties one can find in grocery stores. It included considerable gristle which is usually found in low-cost ground beef. Two of my favourite dishes were ruined for me last night. I guess I should have ordered the chicken quesadilla which i heard was good. Butlers' management changed a while back, and 4-5 years ago, anything on the menu was worthy of ordering. Not anymore, and I doubt that I will ever return there.

Went here to find a vendor to serve alcohol at an event ended up staying to eat the food we had was really good, gave her the contract for our event too and she did a good job, only complaint is the alcohol prices are higher than other places.
