Nestled in a hidden spot in East Keilor, Rose Creek Estate covers 7 acres of pure paradise. This hidden gem produces high-quality wine, exceptional olive oil, and a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Despite the high quality of their products, the prices at Rose Creek Estate are surprisingly affordable. During my visit, I had the opportunity to try a grape variety called Fragola for the first time, and it was truly remarkable. Reminiscent of sauvignon blanc, Fragola has a unique melon aroma that is similar to verdelho but with a more intense and complex flavor profile. In addition to their impressive white wines, Rose Creek Estate also offers some excellent reds. This piece of land by the river was once overlooked by many, but it has proven to be incredibly fruitful for Rose Creek Estate. If you're interested in tasting their wines, the friendly proprietors are more than happy to accommodate your request.

The olive oil has won several awards for quality. I think the Cabernet Sauvignon is particularly good. No oleaginous Kiwi imports here. The winery has an annual open days. Rose Estate can also be found events such as Moonee Valley's Mediterranean Festa. Tony Lina and winemaker Angela Siciliano keep the ship on track. In all, it's an almost unbelievable productive patch of ground, mixing food, wine and Italian hospitality.
