The Heavenly Hoagie - Mooresville

So I finally got to try this place this past Monday in the hopes of connecting with my Philly roots and to get my game face on for the Iggles/Skins game. In a nutshell I was more than pleasantly surprised. The people working there were so welcoming (with a bit of an edge which is necessary for any good Philly hoagie spot). The hoagie was the best I have had in the Charlotte area. The meats were all Boars Head and the hot and sweet peppers were just like you can get at home in Philly. They top the thing with an extra layer of meat so it’s packed which is the way it should be! Only thing that wasn’t quite as good as hoagies from home was the sponginess/softness of the the bread. Good bread for sure but not the crusty outer edge and soft inside that we get at home. Regardless this place is legit and I highly recommend it and will be back early and often! And by the way the awesome hoagie was surely the reason the Iggles stomped the Skins Monday night

Absolutely the best subs in town!!! My husband had been wanting to try Heavenly Hoagie for the past month but I kept putting it off. Having tried all of the mediocre sub shops around town I was in no rush for another average hoagie. I finally gave in a couple weeks ago and gave them a try. I was so impressed with the quality and taste of the hoagies.The hoagies are stuffed with fresh Boars Head meat and the veggies are crisp and fresh. My family loves the sweet peppers on our subs. The employees are so friendly and welcoming when you come in. We have been back several times since our first visit and they never disappoint!

Really good subs, not great but really good. I must admit though that having read some of the other reviews I had super high expectations for this place. I would put them on par with Subway or Firehouse. The bread is really good and they use Boars Head meats which is top tier in my book. The toppings and condiments are fresh. They have a very large selection of chips to choose from and for beverages you have your choice of Pepsi products. I will say the staff are super nice and attentive. The place was clean and had a nice ambiance. I would definately reccomend this as a good sub spot one of the better ones in the Lake Norman area.

We’ve enjoyed this shop a few times in the past. Recently, we hosted a group and decided to call in an order. It took a while to get someone on the phone, but boy was it worth it! The staff member that answered was super friendly and helpful and the food was amazing! There’s not a bad thing on the menu, but the meatballs and roast beef are wonderful. I cannot recommend Heavenly Hoagie enough!

I've loved this place for years, but was reminded of that again today. The sandwiches are very good with some extras not offered at the bigger sub sandwich chains. The customer service is also excellent, esp. for large or special orders. It is locally owned and run. They use Boar's Head meats, so the quality is excellent.
