Sweet Frog - Mooresville

Would not recommend bringing your kids her based of experience with a gentleman proclaiming to be the owner. This was our first time ever at a Sweet Frog and did not know what was offered. My son and I had walked in to see what it was based off of pictures online. The owner stopped us as we walked in and said the line starts here. Even though there wasn't a line. I tried to explain I just wanted to see what Sweet Frog was. I started to proceed to see if we were even interested in the ice cream there. He put his arm up and began to be rude to me and my son. Not giving me a chance to explain what I was doing. I said no worries. I told my son to let's go. That is when he followed us out the door making rude comments. My son was excited to try something new but by his actions made sure that we will not be back.

Yogurt was spoiled. If you taste fizzing on your tongue, you know its bad. Employee refunded, and knew it was bad. Makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the lines and whats growing in the machines to spoil the yogurt.

This Sweet Frog location is fantastic! The toppings were fresh and perfectly organized without any mixing. The waffle cone was deliciously fresh, and the bathrooms, tables, and floors were all very clean. The staff was upbeat and cheerful, making for a great experience overall.

I want to give a shout-out to Sweet Frog in Mooresville. I recently came across a post highlighting how they are really struggling during the pandemic. Today, I took the kids there to show our support and even purchased a gift card for future visits. I was really impressed with their cleanliness and sanitation measures. You have to wear a mask, sanitize your hands, and use disposable gloves while in the food area. It would be awful to see this local business close its doors. These are families from our community, and now is the time to shop local more than ever. Please consider supporting this fantastic place!

The website indicates that this restaurant closes at 10 PM, but a paper sign on the door states a closing time of 9:30 PM. Although the sign says it's open, the doors were locked at 9:25 PM. There were five customers eager for ice cream and twelve more enjoying their treats outside. It seems like a missed opportunity to generate revenue. I definitely wanted some ice cream!
