Josh's Farmers Market - Mooresville

If you haven't been here yet, you definitely should! The selection of fresh fruits and vegetables is stunning. They also offer lovely fresh-cut flower bouquets—I picked one up for our 28th wedding anniversary! We used the fresh-cut strawberries and blackberries to top a homemade cake with whipped cream, and it was delicious. There's so much more to explore, so I highly recommend you check it out!

Fresh seafood is always the way to go! I had some delicious halibut during my visit. I also picked up some plump, juicy tomatoes and pickling cucumbers, among other things. I absolutely love this place!

I've been a regular at Josh's since 2006, and it has always been a fantastic place with wonderful people! Unfortunately, for the past two years, the town of Mooresville has been forcing Josh's to close every few months due to changes in regulations for outdoor markets. I don't understand why the Mooresville Town Board seems to hold such animosity towards Josh's. It feels like they resent the success of small businesses in the area. I really hope the residents of Mooresville will vote the current town board out of office. I love Josh's and visit several times a week for vegetables, milk, and other items. I will truly miss it if it is compelled to shut down again.

Good, quality selection of in-season fruits, vegetables, random craft type items. Breads, milks, salads, pastries, and fish as well. A couple of different food trucks, including Amish donuts. From a pricing perspective, it's higher than what I've seen at other, more traditional town farmers markets where different farms set up. I'm not sure that this place is an actual farm or just a business that buys in bulk from farms.

Great little market! Mooresville city council needs to be removed from office for trying to ruin this small business icon of Mooresville. No incumbents ever again!!
