Bad Daddy's Burger - Mooresville

We decided to eat at this restaurant after a tiring day of Christmas shopping. The service from Madi was excellent and the food was delicious. It was a fantastic way to finish off the evening.

Sunday evening at about 1700. One other table. We ordered waters and two CYO burgers, one menu burger, and one large CYO salad. CYO burgers were both 10 ounce; they were two five oz. patties. One was ordered medium, the other medium rare but both were much closer to well-done, perhaps barely medium-well. Why try with 5 oz refrigerated patties? Other burger was medium. Salad, with fried buttermilk chicken was five minutes late to the table. I chose romaine, walnuts, cucumbers, peppercini peppers, Gouda, Parmesan, red onion, Greek vinaigrette, and add crumbled bacon. The crumbled bacon seemed like they lifted the bacon screen up, pulled out crumbles, let the oil soak into paper towels and spread over the salad. The Gouda was diced slices and Parmesan was grated. The cheeses should have been shredded. My sons liked their truffle fries and onion rings. Refills were offered when we were about done. We paid with the QR code and left unceremoniously. It will be a pass; the competition in Mooresville is intense for burgers; this place was tier two, with many choices superior.

I have visited this restaurant several times and each experience has been very good. There are many burger places in the area, but this time I tried the bd burger, a classic cheeseburger that was just the way I like it. I also ordered tater tots, which were tasty but a bit salty. The burger was so big that I had to eat it with a fork because the bun was smaller than the patty. The service was great and the burgers were excellent. The menu is extensive and the atmosphere is cool. We started with fried pickles, which were tasty but we could only eat so many. I decided to build my own burger, keeping it simple with a 5oz angus patty which was more than enough for me. My boyfriend ordered the badass burger, which was massive and he struggled to bite into it as it was two 7oz burgers. We ordered our burgers medium well, as our server mentioned that they leave them pink, so medium would be more like medium rare and medium well would be medium. The burgers were cooked perfectly, juicy and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place if you are craving a great burger!
