Heavily Brewing Company - Montour Falls

Cool spot, nice drink choices, great people. The thing that makes Heavily unique is that they offer their own beer plus a bunch of other local brewers so you can try a lot of beer without ever having to leave this beautifully finished space. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, and plenty to drink and not just beer! They have local wine and local spirits too! Plus music on most Friday and Saturday nights. If you are kicking around Seneca, add this place to your list!

I tried doing the Finger Lakes beer trail and decided to drive a couple hrs near Watkins Glen. Well, stupid me for expecting a business to be open during its posted hrs. Despite it being spring this place was closed and in complete disagreement to their advertised hrs in yelp. I called and got a voicemail which said they were only open on fri sat during winter time, hello.... it's Spring now, wake up from hibernation.... Ok, I hate my time being wasted due to others incompetence. How can I expect these clowns to make something consumable if they can't even post accurate seasonal hrs of operations. Good luck with your business although I tried Rooster Fish near you and they were equally incompetent. What is it about this part of NY where breweries can't keep advertised hrs. You should be removed from the Finger Lakes beer trail pamphlet since you can't be open as advertised. Thx for wasting my time...

Really great brewery off the beaten path. Beer was very good and it is also a place you can go with kids as there is plenty for them to do there as well. It is large with an upstairs 'game room ', pool table, foos ball, etc. We went over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with out of town friends/family/w/kids and it was great. Look forward to getting back again soon.
