Wishbone Cafe' - Montgomery

This is a gem of a restaurant. I love Louisiana cuisine, and I’ve lived a few years west of Baton Rouge. The food here reminds me of the best I’ve had there. They absolutely nailed the rice; the bedrock of great Cajun grub. Excellent, balanced seasoning, nice seafood. The chefs take pride in their work- it shows.

We had take out. The place doesn't smell very good but the food was delicious. Crab craws and fish croquette sandwich. Both very tasty. Makes for a great stop when passing through Montgomery. Totally recommend.

It's been a long time since I had visited Wishbone! I was delighted to have a meal with my family there. I wanted some Cajun. I ordered the Tilapia with brown rice. There were supposed to be two but I got just one and said nothing about it. My wife was not flattered with her choice but this was my choice of restaurants. I'm glad we did it.

I had the homemade banana pudding. Not a fan of the whip cream and the stuffed truffles, which were great . ,5 stars for that.

The food was absolutely delicious. our server was very attentive and helpful. if I'm ever back in town, this place is up on my list. the crawling claws were my favorites.
