Sommer's Place - Montgomery

This family-owned restaurant offers a diverse menu with plenty of options. Our group of 14 dined here, and I didn’t hear a single complaint about the food. The fried oysters were particularly praised, as was the prime rib. My husband and I opted for the meat and three sides. The fried chicken breast was tasty, and the country fried steak along with the mashed potatoes were great too. However, the standout dish was definitely their squash casserole! I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was—I would return just for that! For dessert, we chose the fruit crisp and were thrilled by the generous portion. The highlight of our experience was the incredible service! Our server attended to all our needs promptly and effortlessly. I only wish I could remember his name!

I had a wonderful dinner at Sommer's Place. The prices are quite reasonable; I ordered meals for three adults and a child, along with an appetizer, all for under $55 before tip. I had the meatloaf with three sides, while my wife chose the pork chop with three sides. I enjoyed every bite of my meal. My wife didn't have any major complaints, although she had a few minor critiques. The location is decent, but the decor and overall ambiance give off a small-town feel. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. I would definitely return!

My family has gone here for years it’s delicious. We always get crab claws. I usually get a salad with French onion soup and it fills me up. All of their food is pretty good. The atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly.

My husband and I had lunch there and ordered 1 and 3. Best southern food we have had. I had fried tilapia, Mac and cheese, squash casserole and banana cream pudding. All was delicious. If we're ever in the area again would definitely come back. Service and emoyees were very friendly.

This is one of the best places I've eaten in a long time. It has a grandmas kitchen feel to the environment our waiter was on top of his game. The food was amazing I got the turkey pot roast and my husband wouldn't stop eating it lol.
