Fresh Vegetable Plate Welcome Relief After Weekend of Overindulgence. My stomach thanks me for the 'Fresh from the Montgomery Curb Market Vegetable Plate with meatloaf and Creole Sauce I provided today at Shashy 's. A little pricey at $11.50, the quantities were ample and the cornbread (my specialty) was served warm and with a pat of REAL BUTTER!!! [So sick of 'Promise ' spread other places use. The only think it Promises is to make me gag] Noticed they also serve breakfast now and the menu looks really good as do the bakery items in the display cases up front where you pay. Highly recommend this place for lunch.

Great breakfast and lunch spot. I love breakfast at Shashy's--the Tenderloin Benedict is a brilliant creation--or the plain ole eggs benedict is a good choice.<br/ <br/ Lunch? I love the chicken salad. Their deli sandwiches are good--but the po boys are REALLY good.

Great place to eat, especially their fried green tomato eggs benedict. Their baked goods look amazing. They make some traditional Italian cookies which make me miss home. They also do a very good country ham breakfast.

Incredible! The beef tenderloin Benedict was absolutely fantastic. The cinnamon rolls are addictive, even better than crack. I highly recommend the JLo special. The French toast is the best I've ever had. My taste buds were awakened and then blissfully satisfied.
