Newk's Eatery - Montgomery

Newks is a good choice if they are looking for a fast and possibly healthier choice to eat on their lunch break. I have been here since the opening many times and most of the time my meal is good. the pandemic causes a lot of company a hit and newks is not a take. eating is still good, but most customers like me choose to go their meals. they have opened the restaurant for indoor eating, but it is not too busy in the rule, except during the lunch hours on factory days. we came on a Saturday, so it was quite with a steady stream of people who came in and out. Friends of mine brought me here after church one Sunday. I got a half sandwich with a cup of soup. It was very good. The place was filling up so it took longer to get our food but we didn't mind. A great place to eat.

Had the Cobb salad with blue cheese dressing, very heavily dressed. Missing the roasted garlic on the extra bar but enjoyed the meal.

Had hard store bought croutons and the Newk’s Q was served barely warm. Workers let it set out to get cold to hangout with other people in the dining area. Whole kitchen was empty for a solid 10 minutes and then they decided to make the salad for the order. Experience was not good. I do not recommend eating here.

Love this place! Good food! The tomato soup is excellent.
