Green Papaya Lao-thai Cuisine

I've been coming to Green Papaya for years and every time it's phenomenal. These are the hands of one of the best places to eat in the city. There is a cozy and quiet atmosphere inside, the staff is very helpful with the understanding of the dishes if you are not familiar with the food and of course everything is delicious. My favorite dishes are Amazing Lad Nah or Beef Pho.

Excellent! I had a rice noodle dish that I can't say, but it was absolutely amazing. Thai tea was really good. The service was missing, but it was a bad waiter who was great, but could have used help. Come on.

I don't enjoy this rice at all. I added no less than 7 packages soy sauce (test after each package) and it still tasted very bland as nothing.

Excellent as always. We placed a large order(10 people) by phone to pick up. Every order was right and so delicious. Green Papaya never lets me down. Perfect! The staff and the owner are always a pleasure. I will always recommend GP to anyone seeking authentic Thai food. Very recommended for vegetarians like me.

A family owned local business, The Green Papaya has been my favorite Laos/Thai cuisine in Montgomery. A little off the beaten path it 's a must try for people who like this cultural cuisine and who can handle Thai hot however the do offer milder. My favorite is the Spicy Kao Pad. Inside is clean and nice even though the outside isn 't nice on the eyes but that 's often where you find the hidden gems. Last visit I tried the lunch special which was Garlic and Black pepper chicken with soup and a spring roll for 9.25. It was great!
