The potstickers are so crispy on the outside, with a perfect golden brown layer and an incredibly juicy, flavorful filling. For noodles we got the beef noodle soup. It was a bowl of comfort, with rich broth, tender beef, and perfectly cooked noodles that hit the spot. These two were my favorite dishes here. We also got their xiao long bao and juicy pork buns, with every bite a flavor explosion. The service was prompt and friendly, with a cozy atmosphere. I can't wait to return to explore more of their menu. If you're a fan of Chinese cuisine or just looking for a spot with exceptional potstickers, this is the place to be!
Mama Lu who???? This will be my new go-to for when I'm craving beef noodle soup. Place is clean and less oily than Mama Lu. Portions are HUGE. My group went a little crazy with the ordering LOL. Everything had solid flavor. Beef noodle soup was the winner for me. Perfect flavor, not too salty, super soft beef and enough toppings. Beef roll was lacking in sauce but the skin was nice and flaky. The spicy dumplings indeed had a little kick to them, but tasty! I was most unimpressed with the buns we got; the skin was tough to eat. No wait on a Friday night, place was always full but service was very fast and they were nice! If you have a bigger party there may be a bit of a wait because they only have one or two big tables.
The inside is small hence the long line (but it's worth it! . Once you're seated, the food comes out pretty fast. Food: Xiao long bao: dare I say it's better than din tai fung? The soup definitely is so much more flavorful. The wrapper is not as thin but pretty close. Fried squid: this was the star of the show. The texture is unlike other fried squid or calamari I've had before. The inside is chewy. The outside is airy and crispy. Fujian style fried vermicelli: visually doesnt look flavorful but it's very much so. Proteins to noodles ratio is great Beef rolls: compared to everything else this was ok. The outside was very nice and crispy Lemon green tea: it's $5 and gigantic! Tastes is average but it's definitely worth the money. You can also get to go cup because most people aren't probably gonna finish it
We recently came here for a weekday lunch and the restaurant was almost full when we arrived. Despite that, we were quickly seated which was nice. The parking lot was decently-sized, so finding a spot wasn 't a hassle.Service was quick, with our food arriving pretty quick. We ordered three dishes total: the Popcorn Chicken, House Special Beef Noodle Soup, and Beef Rolls. The Popcorn Chicken, while well-fried, generally had an inconsistent meat-to-crust ratio. Some pieces were spot on, while others were almost all pieces of fried batter. We also ordered mild-spicy, but it definitely felt more like medium-spicy, so keep that in mind. The House Special Beef Noodle Soup was decent, but not quite up to the house special standard. The noodles were overcooked for my liking, and the soup lacked depth of flavor. The beef was also a tad dry, so overall this dish fell short of expectations. However, the Beef Rolls were a standout and worth a return visit. This was the most expensive Dim Sum dish and rightfully so . The rolls were perfectly crispy on the outside with a generous filling inside, hitting a perfect balance of sweet and savory. They might just be my favorite in the area!Overall, this offers good value for the price in terms of portion size and variety, but the quality could be more consistent. Despite some fair disappointments, the Beef Rolls alone might make this spot worth another visit.
Really great spot for authentic Taiwanese beef noodle soup and dumplings. Came here for the first time around 5 pm on a Sunday and was already so crowded! Probably because it's located right next to the HK Fortune Market, even though there's a decent amount of parking spaces I barely managed to find a spot. There were a lot of people waiting outside or just getting takeout from here. It's a pretty small place and the music is kinda loud but not overbearing. We ordered and within 5 10 min, the food came out so quickly! 1) Xiao Long Bao 8/10 Pretty good the soup and meat were very juicy and still hot. The xiao long Bao wasn't too doughy which I liked and the meat was cooked well. 2) Beef Noodle Soup 7/10 Honestly, it's not bad but I just am not a big fan of the noodle consistency here as it tastes like ramen noodles. I prefer knife cut noodles but the beef was so soft and cooked well/very flavorful. The soup surprisingly was pretty good too (not too oily and was packed with flavor). The bowl was also REALLY HUGE wasn't able to finish everything and had to bring some home Service was good they work fast to get your order and meal. Overall, definitely a spot to check out but beware of limited parking. This area is crowded in general so I'd advise you park somewhere else and walk or come in not so busy times.
