Gatten Sushi - Monterey Park

If you're in the mood for some variety, I highly recommend conveyor belt sushi. This place offers a fantastic selection of dishes. My favorites included the raw shrimp sushi, fatty tuna, and ebikasu fried shrimp popcorn. However, I wasn't a fan of the albacore tuna; it was dry and tough to chew. We arrived before 6:30 PM on a Sunday, and we didn't have to wait at all. By 7 PM, there was a line, but it moved quickly. When we left around 7:30, there were about three tables waiting. I also found out that they have a monthly plate tower competition, and I'd love to participate in that during my next visit!

This is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant! It's a unique and enjoyable experience. My daughter absolutely loved it! I had to ask her to slow down with picking more plates because she wasn't finishing the ones she had already chosen. Overall, it was a lot of fun, and the food was great!

I really enjoy this place! While there's a lot to appreciate about conveyor belt sushi, I find this spot to be quick, convenient, and easy. Plus, you can always order from the menu if you prefer. They do a great job with the basics like sushi and tuna. However, I did feel a bit cramped when I ordered a spider roll, as it came with only two pieces. I suppose that's just how it's meant to be?

My wife and I always come to Gatten sushi for sushi and delicious items they have.

Nice staff. Clean place. A little bit pricey but totally worth it. The quality of the food is excellent.
