Sabor Tico Monteverde - Monte Verde

A higher end “Soda” (traditional Costa Rican food) without the hefty price tag. The food here was well cooked with good ingredients and sees a step from the average soda regarding cleanliness. The Casado is really good and the Patacons. If you are looking for a limo to try, but nevertheless the comfort of a nice restaurant without breaking the bank, this would be the place to go. This is my favorite Santa Elena restaurant for Costa Rican.

This is the golfito fish that was delicious. My son had the Caribbean chickens and it was great. My husband had the Fajitas and they were as expected. The staff is friendly and it seems family-run. Go on the hill, it was worth it.

One of the best restaurants in Costa Rica. We ordered the Arroz de la Casa, the Olla de Carne, a mango milkshake and a Cas-Jugo-nature. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were huge, we probably would have shared a duck. Very recommended!

After a disappointing meal in the night before, we were very satisfied with Sabor Tico. Service was wonderfully warm and welcoming. Menu very seductive and cocktails unique. Good prices. Great portions. I'd come back in a heartbeat!
