Toro Tinto Pizza Grill - Puntarenas

This pizza is wonderful. As someone from the NE USA this passes the test if you’re craving good pie while away! The crust is crunchy and delightful. Got half margarita and half veggie and did not disappoint. The veggie was so good, highly recommend!

Perfecto for pizza!! We had their house salad fantastic, and their pizza was unexpectedly great!! We were a little leary when we first came in, but the waiter and cook were amiable... side note there has been no military in CR since 1940 (my wife argued 200 years, lol) The chef came out to talk to us. It was a very early and intimate dinner as we were their first guests of the evening. Charming people and fantastic pizza!!!

The Steak was very good ordered it medium rare and i got exactly this. They also have a variety of not so expensive wines.

Great food! The service was phenomenal and the pizza was this thin crust and very tasty! The place itself has a very good vibe and well decorated. Service was quick as well and the staff are knowledgeable about the area as well.

Excellent medium-rare 12oz rib eye steak, and good house wine choice that won't bankrupt you. They definitely know how to steak, unlike some other places we've seen in CR. The meat was tender, and cooked exactly how we've asked: medium rare. There are other cuts you can choose from (see menu).
