The food is excellent and the prices reasonable. We enjoyed flank steak and cod this time and the Cadix cake for dessert. All were very nice! We will be back for sure!
Mediocre breakfast, cold and soft toast. moches jams and services in plastic pots!
Did the breakfast buffet and it was fine. Made to order omelets. Good fruit with berries. Excellent service by the waiter and he helped fix our wobbly table. However, the table was wobbly in the first place and one of the chairs was very dirty. He did wipe it down after we mentioned it.
Let me first say, I'm a fairly tolerant person when it comes to service in a busy restaurant. I'm not a tolerant person when the place is 1/4 full and the staff stands around and talks to each other....which happened to be the case here. We were a party of 8, the largest in the dining room at the time, and we repeatedly had to flag down our waitress for drinks, to order, food etc.. The food, when it came, was actually decent. Unfortunately mine was on the cold side from sitting around too long before being served (sauce started to congeal). Another person in our party ordered a grilled cheese that came out ungrilled...not sure how that even happens. If this wasn't located in a place with high traffic at the base of the mountain, their service would make them struggle for return customers.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is quite subdued and not too lively compared to all the other bars and restaurants in the village. If you're after some music, or atmosphere I'd recommend looking elsewhere. We ducked in for a quick dinner at 8pm and the food we had was very nice. We were served promptly so didn't experience any bad service. I wouldn't return, even though it's part of the SPG points system just due to the atmosphere. Just didn't feel welcoming or interesting.
