Osteria Romana Main St. - Monroe

Went here for the Mother’s Day brunch buffet on 5/8/2022. We felt like we were at a Carnival Cruise ship buffet. People stuffed into a dinning area, loading their plates up with mediocre food, getting their share of desserts before they were even done with dinner, it was disgusting. Mimosa’s were flat, “roast beef” was undercooked, ham was rubber. $34.95 a person what a joke! The only reason they get two stars is because our waitress was an angel amid all of the chaos and slop. Will NEVER go here again.

We had dinner at Osteria Romana this past Friday night. Everything was really nice... The service was terrific... We left with the feeling that the staff really cares about making your experience exceptional. Even the chef came to our table to check in to see how we liked all of the food, which was a nice touch. We had fried calamari and polenta as the appetizers... and I had shrimp scampi as my main course. All of our food was simply delicious. Needless to say, we will be returning to this spot at some point soon.

Fantastic Sunday brunch with friends. From omlettes to raw bar, all was fresh and delicious. Looking forward to going back.

My favorite restaurant in CT! The Osteria Romana in Norwalk was already my favorite restaurant in CT and then they opened one closer to me. Risotto dishes are usually my go to but everything is good here. I finish everything off with a chocolate cake and port wine for dessert. Wait staff is exceptionally excellent at both locations.
