Sal's Family Pizza - Monroe

I have lived in Monroe for 33 years and have on very few occasions eaten at Sal’s. I do not understand why this restaurant was not on my radar. We ordered food because we had a gift certificate and I was working late. My dinner was simple, a salad with prosciutto olives mozzarella and more and escarole and bean soup. It was very good, real Prosciutto de Parma, My husband had chicken française and that was excellent and plentiful! I am so impressed with the quality of the food, the quantity and the price. We have paid up to $22 for that same dish and although good did not even compare to Sal’s. No wonder why they have stayed in business all these years. I was looking for a place where I could order from frequently without paying ridiculous prices, I found it! Now, I hope you make a good mussel please! Thank you!

Great sauce for great meatballs! it is an Italian family restaurant, try it.

Excellent taste, fast and efficient. a family team and more than happy to come back. I wish there were more places like this! prost!

It was my first time at Sal. We went for brunch after the funeral of a family and it was fantastic the setting, the staff we had a lovely time.

Our favorite pizza in Monroe! Followed by Jennies and American Pie (yes, American Pie, lol). And we've had from just about everywhere else, including Honeyspot, Lia's, Bella Rosa, Julian's, Pisano's, and Country Pizza.
