The Dam Grill - Moneta

Once we got back to our rental house and sat down for what we had been eagerly anticipating as our dinner, my wife discovered that her Croddock Creek Cobb Salad was missing both the ham and the boiled egg. When I opened my Firecracker Burger, I found that the fries I had ordered were also missing; instead, there were chips in their place. To top it off, the burger lacked much flavor. Given the high prices, I was really disappointed to have both our meals messed up.

A visit here is an absolute must if you're in the area! I had the Prime Rib for dinner one night and enjoyed it so much that we all agreed to come back the following night. This time, I tried the homemade pizza (the only size available is large), and it was outstanding! The service was excellent; the waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and incredibly friendly to all of us. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area!

The food was excellent, and the waitstaff were extremely accommodating. Although there was a bit of a wait for the food, which is quite common these days, it's definitely worth being patient!

The best I have had in a while. The sweet tea was perfection. The food was delicious. Friendly waitress. Cannot wait to visit there again.

We had lunch here, and it was excellent. We tried the wings, shrimp and grits, and the Dam's Spring chicken. The wings were crispy and the blackberry bbq sauce is more than worth a try. It's a very unique sauce that they make in house. The shrimp and grits has an upscale spin on it with the grit cakes. My Dam Spring's chicken was moist and cooked perfectly. We tried a couple of bar drinks. I had the water moccasin and the berry lemonade. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service, and I would visit again. It is a little pricey, but to be so close to the marina it's perfect.
