Freddie's Pizza & Donair - Moncton

The pizza is right with fresh ingredients. The deep pizza is light and has enough ingredients to supplement the meal. Unlike many pizza places that have resorted to the use of bacon bits that are very salty, this pizza place uses fresh meat. Not too salty, not too sweet, the pizza is just right.

You have to eat here! We loved it so much. People always said the Donairs are better in NB and they were right! It was delicious. The pizza is really good, we have meat lovers and it was high quality and tasteful. Also the crust and all the beats were good. The garlic fingers were delicious, we loved them so much, they were perfectly crispy and tasted great. My daughter went for the crispy outside pieces. My mom said it was the best she ever tasted. The only thing that was strange is, and that must be an NB thing, they have white Donair sauce that is good, but not to our taste. A white sweet and acidic sauce. I like the homemade garlic sauce that comes better with the Donairs in Ottawa, but it could be a regional flavor. Fyi: We went back the next morning and bought a pizza, 2 Donairs and other garlic fingers for the street. One of the Donairs was revived the next day in the oven in the film and was still amazing!! Not sure how they get this taste on the meat. I wish we had one in Ottawa. I definitely need a hit, maybe once every two months and NB is too far for dinner. Please build one in the east.

Had a pizza with the works yesterday. After reading so many positive reviews I was disappointed. It was not bad, but nothing special....will go back to Vitos next time I want a pizza.

Freddie’s Pizza and Donair is so good, just the thought of it makes me drool. Warm, flavourful meat. A sweet, almost caramel-like sauce and refreshing tomatoes and onions all wrapped together in a pita. Out of all the Donairs that I have tried in Moncton, Freddie’s is certainly my favourite.

This pizza is delicious. The crust is light and tasty and even the outer crust is easy to chew a golden light brown. The toppings are fresh and the bacon is not something, but real bacon. The tomato sauce is not too sweet or heavy on spices. Well balanced to complement the cheese and the beats. This is a rarity in the industry. It is difficult to find a regular pizza, as the thin crust craze and without the recipe for the dough with different pans and ovens has created impermanence in the crust of dry to scorched on other pizza chains. This is my first pizza at Freddie and decided to try a deep dish. The staff is friendly, the store is clean and it did not take long to get the order. I would highly recommend this restaurant, the food is excellent. This chain should be Canada wide so that other Canadians can enjoy a pizza from the past. A great product. I will certainly try the other items on the menu.
