Cafe Archibald - Moncton

Amazing food only topped by the service! We had pizza, crèpes followed by desert. The food is fresh, well prepared and tasty. Worth every penny.

I had the beef crepe with horseradish sauce greek salad and brocally chicken soup the flavor was good the portion seemed very small. my wife had the Canadian pizza that is also served on a crepe very thin with hardly any toppings.it was noisy on the front porch of the restaurant were we decided to eat is right on mountain road and there is a lot of road noise. it might be better for breakfast or a light lunch.

We stopped here for a late lunch while traveling through. For that reason it was not very busy, and service was prompt and excellent. The waiter even recommended another place for when we would come back through the next day.None of us had crepes but what we did have was very good. The only disappointment was that they had no type of bread for someone with a dairy allergy so that greatly limited choices for that person. Prices were very reasonable.

Is it a stellar place ? NoIs it a bad place? NoBest thing about it is that they do some rather interesting things with crepes.It is a little cafe/bistro that I feel has some very good potential but just hasn't quite made it.If someone else wanted to go to try it then I wouldn't steer them away or refuse but neither would it be on my list of "oh let's go here"But hey ... Nothing ventured Nothing gained ... It is a place worth a try ... You may like it.

We tried this place after hearing rave reviews from friends. They were absolutely right in saying how good it was. The crepes are great, and the selection offered will appeal to almost everyone. I will definitely return, and will give a new crepe a try.
