Clementine Cafe And Deli - Moncton

Clementine cafe, adorable name and cheery decor and atmosphere. The first time I visited I asked the girl behind the counter what they offer vegans. There was no hesitation as she listed off in a friendly manner what vegans could have. Both soy and almond milk for drinks, the date squares, the vege pate sandwich could be made vegan, etc. She even asked if I preferred caffeine or not and told me what could get. I went for a soy hot chocolate and a date square. The date squares are absolutely amazing, probably the best I 've ever had and the hot chocolate was delicious as well! Now here 's where the negative part comes in. The second time I visited I ordered the same thing, a date square and a soy hot chocolate. Everything was fine and dandy until I took a sip of my hot chocolate after I sat down. Suddenly the barista comes out from behind the counter and says sorry I forgot to do soy. So I had a sip of dairy milk which is disgusting on so many levels and all I could think is what would happen if I had a dairy allergy. I know mistakes happen and he didn 't do it purposely but I feel very distrusting now. If I go back, I 'll be watching them like a hawk and repeating myself over and over. So overall, it 's a great coffee shop that offers some good vegan options but I suggest keeping an eye on the barista.

The service at this restaurant is consistently excellent, and their sandwiches are top-notch. The food is always freshly prepared, and they undeniably serve the best coffee in the Moncton region.

This restaurant is adorable, the food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable! Parking can be a challenge at times, but it's definitely worth it.

This coffee shop on Elmwood Drive is fantastic. The coffee is roasted by Sunny Brae Coffee and is absolutely delicious! The food is decent and typical for a coffee shop. The atmosphere is great, but it can be hard to find seating at times due to how busy it is.

I didn't try too much from this spot, but from what I did try it was excellent. Simple bagel and latte- Both were delicious. The jam was a nice homemade style. Our lattes came with an itty bitty cookie which was such a cute touch! They have indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff and a good layout. I would recommend swinging by this spot for sure!
