Sea Mist Fish 'N' Chips - Monash

After our regular Fishop closed down, we tried this place instead for the first time for our Friday night takeaway meal. The fish (flake & whiting), dim sims, potato cakes & chips were really tasty and crisp (not soggy at all). I think we've found a new regular!

Every time we've been here the staff have been pleasant and the food is consistently good.

I am New in the Area and i found this Fish and Chips shop one Day.

It is very difficult in our area to find a good and reliable takeaway fish and chips cafe. On the recommendation of a friend, we tried Sea Mist recently and were not disappointed.They have a variety of fish which can be cooked after identifying which particular variety you like. We both usually fall for good old flake which we find is reliable. In both instances we have been there, we have not been disappointed with the product at all.Always have it grilled – turns out not fatty, greasy or oily, just right. They are very generous with their portions which is a nice change. Chips are crunchy and crisp and again, not damp or ugly. All in all, the products are a pleasure to eat.Service is prompt and efficient, staff are very friendly and helpful.This is now become our local "go to" cafe for superb quality fish and chips.
