Was visiting from out of town and everyone told me I had to try. Food was great. The manager Phil was awesome and provided the best service, as well as the rest of the staff. Super friendly and helpful.

I've never had a bad experience here. The food is super tasty and the drinks are good.

Edit: see original review below...I gave them a second chance (at this location) as they mentioned in response.This time I didn't actually eat anything. My guest (who flew in from California for a visit)... and I was really excited to show them the famous Pittsburgh Primanti Bros chain but turns out they had a 30 minute wait... Not to be seated but just for service. They can't even staff this restaurant right. We ended up leaving after 35 minutes of nobody evening coming over to the table.This was on a Tuesday August 15th 2023 at 1pm. The restaurant was not full in fact it was probably 80% empty and still they couldn't even accommodate a party of 2?How is this possible that a chain restaurant can't ask employees from other places to come work for the day? Either they don't want to pay their employees a fair wage for emergency staffing for the hassle or they are horribly mismanaged. Maybe both.My guest was laughing at how bad the service and restaurant was run. She had never seen a restaurant run so badly...I will never be back to the Monaca location. They clearly have a major management or employee retention issue....Avoid this location at all costs...Original review: Famous sandwich in the Pittsburgh area. This location is ok but not great unlike other Primantis locations.

Came in hungry and tired Katleen my hostess was so sweet and took care of me!! The Pickle beer was better than expected! The sandwiches are pretty good!! Great place!
