Olive at Hawker - Molonglo River

Do not pass this hidden shade, some of the best eating and service we have ever had.

We had heard great reviews from friends who were in olive hawker we were not disappointed. the waiting staff was all very friendly, appealing, courtesy and timely. eating was delicious and the proportions fantastic. that was a mother's lunch for my wife. we had our little miss Fast-2 with us. always a challenge (and thus a rare event) for us with bubba. the employees were very accommodating of us alternating to take them for walks between dressed, and were very good with her, in talks. we cannot recommend this restaurant enough. we look forward to the return many times. seems to have found our standard location on the north side to also take Interstate visitors. ps: thanks to the staff who gave up their dinner with their mothers or children, so a great night for families as well as our.

We had a take away because they were fully booked. looks like a wonderful mood when we picked up. large portions, delicious.

Quaint little suburban greek eatery. Very flavourful food and generous portions. Unfortunately another dining family thought they could subject the rest of the restaurant to their screaming spawn who were running around unruly. This isn’t a reflection on the venue but it did make it awkward until they left. Would re visit. The lamb meatballs were delicious and our favourite.

We are from Sydney so knew little about the Canberra restaurant scene. We found Olive at Hawker on-line so booked with fingers crossed. How lucky! The food is fabulous. We had arancini for entree and lamb shoulder for main. Both were superb....and the wonderful and welcoming staff made the evening for us.We were staying near the CBD. Nowhere near Hawker. It was worth the drive. Great Italian/Greek food. This place is a must.Now....can I convinve them to open in Sydney.......
