O'charley's Restaurant Bar - Mobile

We had a birthday dinner with four friends, and our waitress was simply outstanding. She was attentive, polite, and extremely helpful. We never found ourselves in need of anything; she anticipated our needs perfectly. The shrimp, fish, and crab dishes were all excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable. Date of visit: September 20, 2022, at 11:30.

We visited the restaurant with a group of five on a Sunday afternoon, and although we had to wait a bit longer than we'd hoped for our food, the experience was otherwise quite pleasant. The restaurant wasn't overly busy at the time. The service was excellent—our server, Ebynie, was attentive and personable, making us feel well taken care of. The food itself was delicious, and we’re looking forward to returning to try some of the new dishes on the menu.

The service staff was excellent, and the cleanliness of the restaurant contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. The children enjoyed their meals, and the prices for food were very reasonable. Most of our dishes were fried, but unfortunately, one dish was overcooked and the chicken was dry beneath a dark brown, crunchy exterior. Upon inspecting the less-cooked items, we found the dough to be wet and raw underneath the top layer. I highly recommend avoiding the fried items, but everything else was fantastic!

Came with a big party on the reservation and was sitting immediately. The waitress was friendly and attentive to our orders and needs. It took about 45-60 minutes until the food arrived. After all finished, our waitress disappeared and we couldn't get our tickets for 40 minutes. I talked to several employees to try to pay my ticket so I could go, but they said I had to wait for my waitress. After all, the waitress brings our tickets, but immediately goes before we can pay. Several tickets were wrong and I was overloaded $7 but could not afford to wait longer to solve it. We'll wait 15 minutes before she comes back to collect them all. A member of our group asked to speak with a manager 3 times as cordially as possible before getting out, just to tell us very rude, it is our fault and he went from shaking his head. I've been waiters for over 4 years and this experience has been terrible. The way management treats this must be evaluated. I would understand if they told us if they were understaffed or even gave us updates on the status of receiving our orders/tickets, but they simply did not.

We should 've taken the rude 'welcome ' as a warning. Experience only got worse once we were seated. New to this area decided to eat here for my birthday lunch. Although our waitress was nice, we didn 't receive drinks until after we finished our appetizer. Husband daughter ordered full meals I ordered $5 nachos. Told they were in the window when the other meals were delivered, but it never came. Husband daughter finished their meals, before I asked for my order to be taken off my bill. There were 2 other tables directly in front of behind us having the same issues, had to have other staff find our waitress. Manager never came to speak with anyone about the situations to offer an explanation.
