The katsuo was really tasty and fresh, somen chanpuru huge, shima rakyo has a delicious bite to it and the umi budo 海ぶどう were really plump and succulent. Oh and mozuku tempura boom!
Very good restaurant. Everything are fresh. And a lot of local dishes here.
Fried bitter melons and fried noodles are very good. The old and local interior are interesting too.
Oh my word! This place is magical! This is where I fell in love with the island and the people in Miyako. Food was amazing that’s a given but most importantly chef Takashi San is my hero! Not only he has great taste and skills in food prep he also plays guitar. He grew up in Miyako and spent his early years sailing and boxing. He’s a big fan of Instagram too if that ticks for you (definitely ticks for me!! . If he likes you (he likes everyone really! You just have to smile! and you happen to sit at the bar, he might smuggle freshly cut sashimi into your plate. We had so much fun at the restaurant and decided to go out for drinks with him at a local bar afterwards. How can you not fall in love here???
Incredible restaurant! The chef was very friendly and explained the menu to us before ordering. Food was simply out of this world. Highly recommend
