They have great drinks and the service is good too. I especially love their calamari and the bison burger can’t be beat. My wife had the short ribs and they’re also delicious. Its our favorite location for Friday or Saturday evening date and overall I say is great value for the money.
I love this place. There so nice and welcoming. The food is great for the price. I my husband and I had a wonderful time.
We stopped in at 4pm and a very nice hostess greeted us and told us the dining room didn't open until 5 but we were welcome to eat at the bar that had the same menu...after seeing that there were seats at the bar we asked the bartender to order a drink while we looked at the menu to order dinner at the bar. He was very rude and we told him the hostess told us we could get dinner in the bar and even though we were the only customers and it was after 4 the opening time he rudly grumped at us and walked away. Needless to say his rude behavior led to us leaving and going to the restaurant next door and were greeted and served by a wonderful waitress who earned her 30% tip with a great smile and timely service. I feel bad for people that work hard at their job only to have their customer service ruined by a rude grumpy bartender. We won't be returning.
A petite filet is not a filet mignon but was $50, grainy and mediocre. The appetizer elk meatballs were burnt, tough and we returned them. They did not charge us. My child's kids meal salmon (sockeye-not salmon) came out charred black and he would not eat it, I don't even know why they bothered bringing it to the table. My Cabernet house wine was $17 a glass, menu said different. Everything about this place is awful. It wasn't our waitress's fault- bless her heart so we still left her 20%. I wouldn't be surprised if they are closing their doors tomorrow or in the next month. DON'T GO HERE. Waste of time and money. 5p-7p on Friday night and place was DEAD.
Next time you are looking for a great dinner, avoid the 1800s or the line at that Texas place. The steaks are amazing at Blue Canyon! Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and great dessert!
