Taqueria La Estrella - Mineral Wells

I had the taco salad with shredded chicken. And it was delicious that I would go back there. The waiter was very friendly and continuing to check on me to make sure I was okay. The negative is that they charge a three-and-a-half percent convenience fee if you use a credit card or debit card.

My husband and I are new in the area. We just love great Mexican cuisine and wonderful ambience and friendly staff are definitely also important to us. Taqueria La Estrella has everything!! We had the great privilege of eating with them last night and were both enthusiastic. The food is wonderful and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We have been made to feel how we have been coming for years!! We are looking forward to the next time!!! This little jewel will be regular for us for years!!!!

The food was good and plentiful! I had a taco salad with Fajita chicken. My brother had the #3 and I got his guacamole... Bonus for me! The only thing I didn't care about was the Tacos shell. It was not edible, especially the taste and consistency, which is why I order Taco salad. I like to break the shell and use it like chips. But it was still good without it!

Big Al Pastor street Tacos, rice and beans! Love the green sauce that comes with the tacos. Service is also good!

Walked in was immediately greeted and escorted to a table. I needed to wash my hands so headed for the rest room. There were several waitpersons standing together blocking the way to the rest rooms and the male waiter was in the middle and should have stepped aside but he just stood there so I had turn sideways to get thru them. Y'all need to find somewhere else to stand around. Our waitress was awesome. The street tacos with chicken were awesome. My friend had shredded beef and he said they were the best. The frozen margarita was excellent. Rest rooms were clean. Nice family environment, will be back. The chips were one of my favorite and the salsa was pretty good, plenty of flavor and not spicy hot.
