Manitoulin Espresso Bar - MINDEMOYA

We visited Manitoulin Island for the first time today as a point of interest on a cross Canada trek. When we searched TripAdvisor for coffee & tea on the island Manitoulin Espresso Bar didn't come up, however we noticed it as we drove by and decided to give it a try. Probably best espresso we've had this whole trip. And some delicious goodies as well.

I highly recommend this cafe as they serve exceptional cappuccinos that are even better than those made by some popular chains. The service was friendly and quick, and they also offer a variety of delicious desserts.

This will become part of our yearly roadtrip to Manitoulin. Delish coffee with lots of choices and the Date Square - I am a total fan. My husband had the brownie - we will be driving back just for that :) The owners were so kind to both the tourists and the locals. We felt so welcome.

Service is a little slow, but definitely the best cup of coffee on the island! The frozen yogurt is good too. Don't expect to stay here all day on free WiFi though, as it'll cost you $2. Guess it's hard to make ends meet selling fancy coffee on Manitoulin!

We come up to Manitoulin Island every year and stop by here. I'm a bit of a coffee connoisseur and this Sumatra is fantastic and always consistently good. Not sure if it the water they use or the coffee beans - but I love it. Pastrys are nice as well plus you get get internet access -a bonus! We'll be back.
