School House Restaurant

We stayed on the island for a week and chose the restaurant The Schoolhouse as our farewell to the island meal. We were not disappointed. Great food! Great service! Our only complaint was that the food came too fast... no time between appetizer and entrée. I was told they had a big group. All in all, a great experience!

We were greeted with two lively boys and treated to a wonderful experience and meal. It's not a quick stop on a budget, but the money you spend.

Located just a 40-minute drive from South Baymouth, this restaurant offers a menu with a variety of appetizers, salads, main dishes, and desserts. The selection is not overwhelming, but there are enough options to please most diners. I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb dish, while my companion was very satisfied with the chicken breast stuffed with spinach and cheese. The wine selection was also impressive, featuring a good variety of beautiful wines. To top off our meal, we indulged in fresh island-grown strawberries with shortcake for dessert—delicious! This restaurant has become a favorite spot for our family, as the meals are always unforgettable. Give it a try!

I had read some amazing reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. They were able to squeeze us in and the waitress was wonderful and funny and she even took our photo. The food was out of this world. Highly recommend it.
