C.1880 - Milwaukee

As the name already says that they pierce the door into this restaurant, back to a forgotten border in American history. server roast and serve coffee in a chemex. I tried her five cursor menu that will reset you, I was not disappointed. one of the best restaurants of milwaukee.

Meal was great, but the service was incredibly slow. had water in front of a drink and picked a guy standing around to fill empty drinks. Please note that!

I tried to put us in a corner next to a door where the server came in and out and I couldn't fit into my chair cuz I was sitting against another customer sitting on the table next to me. please move and thank them, and the host wouldn't acknowledge me. they were not patient with my year old raid that has gluten and milk allergy when they asked about the menu. Forbearance! the short nativity was sub par. went to blue jacket and had the same thing and that was so much better.

MMmmmm........ Made reservations last minute for our anniversary so had to settle for an early booking. Upon arrival, promptly escorted to a table for two in back by the wall in front of wine room where it seemed every AC vent was installed with the AC running at full blast even though it was barely degrees outside. I was chilled from the get go and, therefore, uncomfortable throughout. Didn't have either of the call brands for our cocktails which seemed to take forever to order and arrive, even tho we were the only patrons, thus far.
