Best lobster roll in the city! This is forever one of my favorite places in the public market. Whether you’re receiving table service or at the tiki bar chatting with the friendly bartenders; you are sure to have a good time! Everything is extremely reasonably priced for seafood and you can taste the freshness. Besides the lobster roll, I do love the whole lobster and you can never go wrong with an order of oysters!
First of all, the restaurant was tucked inside of the 3rd ward public market, great location. Our server was pleasant, no complaints about the service at all. We had the clam chowder and peel-n-eat shrimp for starters, and the grouper tacos and jumbo shrimp fry for entrees. Not only did all of our seafood taste great and incredibly fresh, the prices were fair in relation to the portion sizes, especially taking into account the quality of the food. Highly recommended.
Wonderfoul market of fish you can dream when you come inside , great. Location is perfect you feel the sea
Nestled in the opening of the Public Market, St. Paul's has a small dining area. It's small but the tables are spaced well. Service by Carolyn was friendly, helpful, and attentive. She was wonderful. Word to the wise, skip the soups chowder and gumbo. They are ok, average at best, and not worth filling up on. Fried oysters were amazing and easily enough for 3. The fried Walleye was spectacularly good lightly fried with a great flavor. It comes with homemade coleslaw and perfect fries. The Walleye was a very large piece of fish and we split it.
