Barbiere's Italian Restaurant On Bluemound

The pizza didn't taste like I remembered from years past. The crust was quite tough, almost like cardboard. The garlic bread was decent, but it lacked a real garlic flavor, and there was no garlic salt on the table to enhance it. On the positive side, the lasagna was tasty, and the salad was also good.

The experience was mediocre—neither great nor awful. The garlic bread was excellent, but the rest of the dishes we tried were merely satisfactory. The atmosphere felt quite cramped. As is common in many places, the staff was limited, so it might be wise to avoid this restaurant if you're feeling very hungry.

I ordered the meat lasagna, while my wife chose the antipasto salad and a snack. The salad was quite generous and flavorful, dressed with vinegar and oil. Both dishes were freshly made, but they were overly salty. My main disappointment was with the lasagna; I was expecting meat but found none. The mozzarella was tough, and when I inquired with the server, she assured me it had a meat sauce. However, there was hardly any meat to be found. We proceeded with our meals, but the meatballs in the snack were also excessively salty. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely, and the staff is friendly. However, I'm not inclined to return.

We had a delicious antipasto salad along with a garlic bread a beautiful crispy crust pizza with cheese, mushroom sausage. We love this picturesque little neighborhood restaurant!!

The service was good but after a long wait for our food, the Alfredo Fettuccine my wife ordered came to the table barely warm and got cold in just a few minutes. The meat sauce in my lasagna was sour, watery, and quite flavorless. The much hyped garlic bread was hard and so oily we both got stomach pain from it. Again, the service was good but didn't make up for the other shortcomings.
