Bagel Bistro - Millstone

I had visited this place two years ago when mask mandates were first introduced, and even then, the staff wasn't wearing masks. When I inquired about their lack of masks, a young, snippy employee told me that their boss said it wasn't necessary. Regardless of the pandemic, state public health guidelines always require gloves. After witnessing such unsanitary practices on two separate occasions, I've decided not to return. No matter how good the food may be, cleanliness and sanitary conditions are far more important to me. I will also be contacting the health department about these issues because it's unacceptable!

The staff is friendly, and the place is clean and well-organized. I enjoyed the breakfast bagel sandwiches, especially the scallion-flavored cream cheese, which is fantastic. I haven't tried the other options yet, but they look delicious. The coffee is great too!

I tried to place an order earlier, and the woman I spoke with on the phone told me she couldn't help me and didn't have time to prepare what I wanted. I had to ask her three times what she meant by not having enough time, especially since it was only 9:00 in the morning. Eventually, I decided to take my business elsewhere, and I recommend you do the same.
