Palm Court - The Langham

My best friend and I went for a girly high tea experience at Langham. While the decor and set up is beautiful, the food was a hit or miss. And definitely not worth the price tags. I'd say I'd only return if I was going for a bridal or baby shower.

I have visited Langham hotel and have afternoon tea with my friend before. It was wonderful. This time I went again, it was very disappointed. Really bad service by a waitress called Sona. A lady dress like a manager had an awful service as well. Didn't enjoy that at all. Call for service several times, didn't come immediately. As my mom was still having her meal, both waitress and manager try to take her plate from her. Very displeasing, really rude and unpleasant experience. As my mom's friends drank all their water, no refill for water. However, I saw the waitress refill other customers' cup. As I booked for five people, the table was extremely small, not suitable for 5 people at all. The waitress done some many wrong things, kept dropping things. From what I can see, she is lack of Proper training. I had two high tea today with my friend. As the waitress served our high tea, didn't even explain what we are having, just put it down and left. The meal my mom was having, just so TINY and over priced. Such disappointment. Bad service, over priced food, unpleasant experiences. Won't ever visit again.

In short: if you're paying $800+ per night, you should get good service and I've never had worst service than this at any price point.
