Springfields on Deakin Restaurant

We stayed again at the Early Australian motel last week for 3 nights and had our breakfasts and 2 dinners at their lovely restaurant "Springfields" again being impressed by the quality of the meals and service. Our breakfasts were well cooked, generous in size and delicious. The dinners were of high restaurant quality & good value with the salt & pepper calamari so tender and tasty, the steaks cooked to perfection & great quality, the beef cheeks moist & melt in your mouth and the kangaroo tender and lovely. The bar serves a good selection of well priced beers and wine including some nice local ones. We highly recommend this restaurant to locals and travellers alike.

Just spent a night in Mildura at the Early Australian Motor Inn and had dinner at their onsite restaurant Springfields on Deakin. It is just a small place but the food was amazing. They say they prepare everything from scratch for you and it is worth the wait. Food prepared and served beautifully, piping hot and delicious. We had breakfast there the following morning and the same rule applied to have delicious food eggs on toast. Gluten free was no bother at all. Highly recommend.

Our food was extremely good, the service was good. HIghly recommended. VEry small little restaurant, intimate and cosy.

Started with garlic bread which was amazing, to then have Mildura's best Parmy served with delicious coleslaw and chips and to finish off the night an Eton Mess which was all kinds of perfection!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet romantic dinner and even for a family gathering!!
