Chopstix Chinese Restaurant Mildura

Let me just say that I wasn't a big fan before, but now I'm sure I'll never eat or get away from chopstix mildura! the restaurant looked like it was under renovation or maybe out of business. We...ordered: wontonsuppen, who looked like it was just a pure water with a cabbage over the floating bugs, hubby couldn't eat the bugs as they were cleaned, he eats no seafood, (we were not told that they would be praised). bark meat in black bean, which tasted as if it had vegemit in the soße. honey chicken that was exaggerated with honey. garlic prawns, the prawns were boiled over with a last of garlic only carrot for sweet crispy rainbow steak, with much too much sauce, only frozen mixed vegetables (kartoffel, inherited mais) our ordering total came to ask who the so-called chef is in this restaurant, we are going to be dissatisfied customers now.

We ordered to take the cost, was the place that looked revealed. it took for our order to cook (too long). When we got the food after home, the Wonton soup looked like a pure water with a little cabbage soldiers in it. hubby could not eat the seven as they were Prawn-Wanderen (he does not eat seafood). the rainbow steak, much too much sauce and there, when comes it with pre packed from mixed veg (karo, inherited mais) never. the bark in black bonsoße, was terrible, it tasted as if it had vegemit the sauce added. the prawns in garlic sauce, prawns were over cooked, much too much garlic, the only sweet, of talking were carrot too much sauce and it looked like water. the honigh chicken, it was about the only thing that came in our order. even though they could take it easier on the honey. I'll ask them. who does this cook? is it a complete amateur.? it seems like chopstix Chinese restaurant mildura, on his last legs. I wasn't fan in the past, but now I'm off!. I will not come back to take away or eat in experience ever.

The ordered farewell was a bit nervous, since he had not tried a chipstix before. I have to say the sweet and sour pork one of the best I had. not coated in this too thick teig, it really uses real pineapple and the sose really tasted. authentic not that light artificial red sose alot are used from a bottle.

We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Mildura. The first time, staffing was sufficient and our meals were OK. The second time, was New Year's Day and there wasn't much open, so we gave it another go. We had one poor...guy doing everything- taking orders, manning the phone, organising take away pick ups, drinks, cleaning tables.... The food is ok, but not outstanding by any means. Serve size was plentiful- two mains and a rice side for two adults was heaps. Fried rice was average- not that tasty. Main dishes were tasty enough, but on both visits our dishes had huge chunks of rock hard carrot in them.

Ordered some takeaway, got the Singapore noodles that was like eating a big spoonful of curry powder. It was so hot that my daughter couldn’t even eat it. It was more curry powder than noodles! And the beef in oyster sauce the beef was so...dry with hardly any oyster sauce in there. Will not be going back there again. Waste of my money!
