Yuca - Miami Beach

Fell short of expectations in every way, so I cannot recommend this restaurant.

While the service was good, the food was truly poor. It is supposed to be a Cuban restaurant and the food was really bad and no where near what you would expect from Cuban dishes. This was very much a tourist restaurant for tourists who have no idea what real Cuban food is like. I would not recommend this place if what you are looking for is to try Cuban dishes.

What an amazing choice for a New Year's Eve dinner! The staff was friendly, laid-back, and exceptional. The food was truly outstanding. I rarely experience Cuban cuisine at such a high level in Miami Beach, especially not at the touristy spots along Lincoln Road and Espanola Way. The drinks, especially the Yuca Mojito, were exquisite. I simply can't recommend this dinner highly enough. It was a perfect way to kick off the new year!
