Tantra - Miami Beach

We took the waitress's advice and ordered the Chilean sea bass and the lobster with truffle risotto. Both dishes were absolutely amazing, and the service was friendly and professional. After our meal, we relaxed in the outdoor lounge chairs with Tantra's signature martini, the Tantric Kiss, and enjoyed some hookah. Overall, it was a wonderful evening—a true gem that I would highly recommend. I will definitely be returning!

During my initial visits to Tantra, each experience felt unique. My first visit was for an intimate romantic dinner, followed by a lively Monday night spent with friends, complete with a live drummer every week. The food exceeded expectations on both occasions. My personal favorites are the lobster napoleon and the scallops. The lobster is incredibly fresh, perfectly balancing sweet and salty flavors with layers of mango and avocado. Interestingly, I never cared for scallops or celery before, but the way these scallops are seasoned and seared is nothing short of magical—I now absolutely love them. The decor is authentically vibrant, transporting you to another country, setting it apart from typical American restaurants. There always seems to be a new piece of art enhancing the charm of this beautiful establishment. I highly recommend it for both the food and the ambiance.

I always bring my friends here when they come to Miami with me. When we shop on Lincoln Road, we come here for a ridiculously expensive cosmo, but enjoy every sip in the fabulous funky atmosphere. (The martinis are maybe $15, but quite large, so one is perfect to go back to shopping).

Our waiter and bus person were attentive, yet reserved. They did fine jobs helping us make our meal selections. The ambience was different. It felt like an aged attempt to create the tropics with faux greenery; however, the food was fantastic! My all-vegetarian dish was light yet danced on my taste buds leaving a marvelous food memory (which is a tough thing to achieve). My mates spoke highly of their meat and fish dishes. We chose to top off the meal by sharing a chocolate mousse topped with an orchid. I didn't think that my main dish could be bettered, but the dessert did the job. It melted in my mouth and felt exotic while totally reminding me of being in mom's kitchen as a child enjoying her freshly baked goods warm from the oven. The price was a little high, but the experience was well worth.

This place is absolutely horrible. The food was not well cooked. What the waiter brought me was not what I had ordered. Do not go there way over priced for what it is.
