Sugar Factory Express Espanola Way

The restaurant has a nice ambiance, but the service left much to be desired. Many menu items were unavailable, and parking was quite inconvenient. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I wouldn't choose it as my first option in the future.

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing overall. The only positive aspect was our server, who also happened to be the hostess. The menu was extensive, almost like a book, but many of the items were unavailable. The food itself was quite terrible—worse than gas station fare! We sampled a variety of dishes, including burgers, paninis, and a salad, but none of them were satisfactory.

The food was served cold, and when I brought this to the server's attention, they called the manager over, who offered to reheat it. Unfortunately, the food returned still cold. When the calamari arrived, it had an overpowering fishy smell. I usually order calamari as an appetizer wherever I go, but I have never encountered one that smelled this bad.

Dirty seats. Service was poor and with an attitude.

Restaurant was about 20% full, yet it took forever to take our order, for our drinks to arrive, and for our food to arrive. When it did arrive, the appetizer was delivered with the entree, the fries were cold, and the food itself was uneventful. I would avoid this place going forward.
