Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza - Miami

The service was awful. No one greeted us or directed us to a table. The waitress was terrible. The food, specifically the pizza, was excellent, but the service was dreadful.

I went to this restaurant last Saturday night. Despite signing up for the waiting list beforehand, the server simply pointed to a table for our group of five at 7:30. It took around 15 minutes for a waiter to come over and take our drink order. This waiter seemed to be juggling between tables and serving drinks at the bar. One person in our group ordered a salad, while the rest of us ordered two appetizers to share. The salad arrived promptly, but after an hour of waiting, we had to remind our waiter about the appetizers, which arrived cold. Another half hour passed before the two pizzas we ordered as our main course were brought to our table, only for us to realize they were the wrong ones. The waiter insisted they were correct, and things became tense. Eventually, the owner intervened, and we finally received the right pizzas, though it was almost two hours after we placed our order. Despite the pizzas being decent, our overall experience was so frustrating that we just wanted to leave. It's disappointing to see others come in after us and leave before us. Additionally, there were three staff members handling takeout orders on the side who seemed to do nothing all night. It's evident that this restaurant needs to better organize their labor allocation. I understand that times are tough post-Covid, but they need to improve their efficiency rather than having some employees overworked while others are idle. The only positive was that the owner ended up comping our meal.

My husband and I love dining at Anthony's. Their pizza is fantastic and the meatballs are the best we've ever had! The salads are always fresh and the service is top-notch. We can't wait to come back again soon.

I had gone before and seemed very good, but on this occasion the pizza didn't like it. It had very little cheese, the edges were incommunicable of toasts since they had not even salsa. Mesonera wasn't even waiting for my soda's refill. In general very bad! I don't know if he's come unless. Actually, I used to be full for that. That's why I made the reservation, but now I didn't need it. I don't know if it was work day.

The pizza was half burnt and the other half had raw dough in it.
