Mr. Ed's Seafood Italian Live Oak

This place is definitely one of the staples of New Orleans cuisine. It's staff and food are truly an example of what it means to be a New Orleans restaurant. You are treated like family the moment you walk in the door. The food is consistently delicious. One of the best places in the city where you can get great seafood and great Italian food or fried chicken in the same place. Went out if my way to go see a friend(Dina) working the Bar. Drank 2 Beers, and Ordered a Super Seafood Platter to go. Excellent service.

Had lemon grilled chicken breast. The veg was creamed spinach. I had to ask what the veg was. Mushy and no taste.

Good food. Gumbo was good however a little bland, fried chicken had a good flavor on the outside the chicken. Not what I excepted from the amount of suggestions we got to go there.

Excellent plus. Consistently fabulous food super sweete attentive staff. Seafood is always fresh. I may go there tonight.
