Hobnobber Cafe - Metairie

I think I might have found my latest garbage bucket. I saw so many great plates of food going past me to other guests I want to try. Seriously you will order something else and see and think that you have ordered incorrectly. Trust me. Everything is great and plentiful. You'll leave full and happy. I swear, if Guy Fieri ruins another place, we'll take him out of town. Sitting is limited as it is a small space.

What can I say about the Hobbnobber Cafe? OMG! All right! And the portions were so much more than I expected. Let's just say I have enough for lunch tomorrow. I had the combination plate. The fish were perfectly fluffy and the shrimps were cockless. Finally, a restaurant that removes the tails before the shrimps roast! The side of the potato salad was perfect, no onions or pimples (there is a lateral selection of potato salad or regular salad . My son had the Tuesday speciality of the trout moonins that fritted out what was a little shocking because most restaurants grill. But it was a larger part of trout, covered with the lively almonds (and I'm not sure if she had a sauce on her or not, but it looked really good. And I heard a regular customer telling her aunt that she would have grilled or darkened if she didn't want it. But since the first time out there, we didn't know what to expect, but we know now. I was a little taken back by the price, but after I did it all up (because we were an appetizer of Mozzarella Sticks and I added a sequence of their Braland potatoes, I realized that their prices are as brilliant as their food! You also have day specialties (Tuesday-trout almondin, meat-leaf and potatoes, something else I can't remember that are inexpensive, with portions large enough to satisfy this intense appetite. We will definitely be back!!

While I was sick, I needed something soup. I remembered this place years ago and took some cancers and corn bisque as well as chicken noodles. Not only were the portions sisable and reasonable, but these were two of the best soups I ever had!!! This will be my farewell. Five stars everywhere! PS Your trout moon with Brabant potatoes is delicious!

Eat here several times and enjoy regular menu and daily specialties.

Great small local place to grab lunch. Good daily specials and the price is right.
