I recommend to check this place!
Pretty disappointment! many years ago came to the galley, and the food and service were average. only returned this last year and eating was good. Unfortunately, there is no one who welcomes them or takes them up. Sit. we sat and waited to be served. wait. wait. server saw we were there. another couple came after and was greeted. drink order and food order. we waited. we finally left. probably not back. too many other better decisions.
I paid for a seafood commo cellar 43.34 when I came into my car and checked it, it was a Wels dinner 19.99) I had to go back to the restaurant and wait 15-20 minutes until they could fix their mistakes. an rude lady that the owner seemed to be angry at me! She told me it wasn't her fault! the fried garnels and oysters were small, but loaded with teig. they were almost too hard to eat and crispy. I never go back to the galley seafood on the metairie road.
The most amazing seafood cooked and roasted! the portions are very large and the taste is always consistent. the galley burgers are delicious with some homemade wobble rings. this place is not disappointed. they have something for each of chicken parmesan to garnish and grotten.
For the most part the food was bland, they had these cheap french fries that my kids didn't want to eat. My wife got shrimp dinner didn't specify if it was fried shrimp or if we had a choice but that is what she got. I got the red fish speciality dish that was bland and tasted fishy and not fresh. What really kicked me in the gut was the $127.00 price tag. I've had way better for less. Also, if it's crawfish season and someone orders shrimp in Louisiana boil it please. Ive had a better Louisiana experience in Houston.
