Triple O's - Merritt

For six months a day a week a superhamburger was supper not for its size but for its quality.

Before selecting this restaurant to meet some friends, we were discouraged by the reviews that we read on line. I am happy to say that myself and four friends had a pleasant experience eating here. It is set up like a fast food restaurant, but I would say the menu items and quality of the food sets it a bit above the norm. The service at the counter was fast, efficient and friendly and we received our meals as quickly as can be expected. My fish and chips were delicious. The onion rings are huge. Everyone at the table liked them except for me, but that is simply because I don't like big onion rings in general. I honestly don't remember what else was ordered except some burgers which were declared very good by both the people that ordered them. Overall, all five of us were happy that we chose to ignore the reviews that were negative as we enjoyed our experience completely.

My wife and stopped in for a quick bite to eat during a road trip to the Okanagan. It's situated within the Chevron which makes it very convenient for a fuel up and grabbing a bite to eat as well. Limited menu but what they have should satisfy most people. Like the title says, good food and service. Nothing fancy, nothing to complain about either.

Triple O's have a soft spot for long-term British Columbians. Essentially it's White Spot - in a faster food mode. It's comforting to see and be able to order White Spot hamburgers, chicken burgers, fish

The title of my review probably didn't get too many people excited. Merritt is not a great place to visit foodwise...I go up there because my mom is in a seniors facility. Anyway, the White Spot attached to a gas station there is really great - it's got a cute little seating area, and the food is classic drive in old school White Spot.
