A very busy place, good atmosphere, clean and very friendly staff. Excellent for a quick stop.
My local Tim's I come here a lot. The workers are not friendly. Never get a hello or a have a good day which I can live with and that's forgivable but not very professional. Today I ordered a Pumpkin spice latte and it tasted absolutely horrible and it wasn't hot. I tried to call the location but no one answered the phone. Do not go here if you care about having polite service.
I went and ordered three breakfast meals. 2x maple bacon croissant with medium peach quencher and medium steep tea, 1 sausage farmers wrap with a hash brown and caramel iced coffee. When I received my food I noticed I had 1 hash brown and asked about the other 2 and was told I didn’t order meals and that I had ordered 2 individual breakfast sandwiches, 2 individual drinks and one meal. The manager came over and his solution was for me to pay for two hash browns individually. I stated why would I pay individually when there is a combo price? And asked to have it adjusted and I’d pay the difference. (I paid $26.48, the adjusted price would have been $27.70) he proceeded to ask if I’d pay individually (hash brown is $1.99 each). I went inside and had the lady at the till pull up the same food items to see the exact difference from what I’d paid and what the adjustment should have looked like. Sure I would have only paid an extra $4.00 but the point is why should I have had to? So I asked for a refund and was given $26.00 back. I then asked for his name as he wasn’t wearing a name tag and how I could make a complaint about the service, he informed me he is the only manager and to call Kelowna and proceeded to ignore me thereafter. Now I question his managerial skills, lack of problem solving and integrity. It’s just $4.00 but with theft and inflation we shouldn’t worry that we’re also being taken advantage of by any corporation or their employees. I personally won’t return to this location and would encourage everyone to ensure they are paying a proper price or go to the McDonald’s next door.
This was my worst experience with Tim hortons, I can understand its a busy store but when people work in food service industry atleast quality and service should be the priority which clearly wasn’t in my case! We ordered 2 wraps, one craveable, one snacker, three drinks and a customised bagel! First the milk in my tiramisu cold brew was not okay, I could see it curdling at the bottom of the cup so I had to go and ask for replacement of my drink and yes they did replace it, later I found there was no chipotle added to my bagel so I had to go and ask for the same on which they told me the order taker never charged me for one although I repeated myself 3 times about the customisation, but okay may be the order taker was new hired, but on my complaint I did not like how the lady with headset reacted when I asked them to remake the sandwich since it was order takers mistake of not ringing it, if I am paying extra I would like my sandwich remade the way I wanted, okay they re made the sandwich but I asked double toasted in butter and it wasn’t even warm. First and last visit to this Tim hortons, definitely not coming again.
